The key to any piece of furniture in your home or space should be its function, and this is where all constructive conversations about furniture design start from. 

If you’re local, Laura invites you to meet in her workshop to discuss your project including desired materials, scale and complexity of the design. A site visit might be required, to gauge the location and space the piece is being created for. 

You’ll be guided through the various timber options, as well as suggested finishes. You’ll also gain an understanding and appreciation of how your piece should age over time, and how you can help to care for it.

Laura’s ethos is that if a tree has taken nearly 100 years to grow, the furniture needs to give you at least that. 

Waitlists aside, you could have your custom made piece from Laura in a little as 4-6 weeks.
